From Barcelona to Vienna and Beyond

SEPTEMBER 29, 2017 - Almanac Hotels is destined to be a new hospitality tastemaker recognized for developing iconic hotels in landmark locations that are rooted in rich histories. All of the properties are architecturally significant and located in the heart of each city where the cultural junction meets the urban landscape. This dynamic brand is inspired by locals yet determined to entice the wanderlust of travelers everywhere.

Inspired design and technology at Almanac Hotels

The Almanac Group wholly owns and operates each and every property in the current portfolio allowing them the freedom to develop and create visionary projects that are entirely bespoke in nature. The commonality in each hotel is the delivery of exemplary hospitality services - maintaining the highest standards across the entire brand - while respecting the individuality of each hotel and every guest.

As a brand, Almanac Hotels understands and strives to enhance the elements of travel that make up your personal journey. Those components are comprised of Scent, Taste, Light, and Touch. When all of those things come together in an exciting way your heart may skip a Beat or it may beat faster - in either case you will know that we got it right. Awaken your senses to a new kind of hospitality experience and unlock the essence of Almanac Hotels.

The Launch of Barcelona and Future Growth

Almanac Barcelona

The first hotel to launch was Almanac Barcelona (91 rooms and suites) opened November 1, 2017, ideally located on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 619-621. A stylish restaurant and bar along with a panoramic rooftop terrace, pool and lounge has made this property a standout.

Almanac Vienna

Followed by Almanac Vienna, the culturally rich hotel (122 rooms) is located on the Ringstrasse, which is arguably the most beautiful boulevard in the world. Currently undergoing a complete renovation, the hotel will open with a sophisticated spa, business and conference center in early 2019.

Almanac Prague

Further afield, the collection will include the new ultra-luxury Almanac Prague (204 rooms including 63 suites) sitting on the banks of the Vltava River in the city center.

Almanac Esplanade Zagreb

Underscoring the iconic nature of the group's properties, the Almanac Esplanade Zagreb, in Croatia’s vibrant capital, is a hotel with legendary status, built in 1925 to originally accommodate passengers from the Orient Express Train. In Budapest, the collection will include the Almanac Tüköry (152 rooms) in the popular downtown section of the city.

The Almanac Fingerprint

Created with a timeless design and respecting the history and architecture of the buildings, each Almanac hotel will be as unique as a fingerprint. Totally immersed in the flow of their modern cities, the hotels will offer dynamic restaurants and bars inspired by and frequented by locals as much as travelers. Additional amenities may include meeting and conference capabilities and special event venues catering to the needs of both local clientele and international businesses. From the leisure perspective, the hotels will offer a range of spa or wellness facilities for their guests. It's time to unlock the essence of Almanac Hotels and awaken your senses to a new kind of hospitality experience.
