I can hardly believe how quickly the term is going! What a busy three weeks the pupils have all had. A quick look at our Twitter feed, @LlansannorPS, will show you hard everyone is working.
As we are still aware the Global pandemic is still present, we ask you to be extra vigilant of symptoms and get a PCR test if your child, or any member of your household, is experiencing COVID symptoms.
We have lots planned for the next half term and can not wait to share these things with you.
Love and Prayers,
Mrs Davies
COVID-19
Please continue to remain vigalent for COVID-19.
Please DO NOT send your child to school if they have any COVID symptoms;
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
If your child has any of these symptoms then they must be kept at home and take a PCR test.
Please also be vigilant for the wider symptoms of COVID. These are: fatigue, myalgia, sore throat, headache, sneezing, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
If your child experiences any of these symptoms, we strongly recommend that they undertake a PCR test.
Face coverings will not be required while on school site but WILL be statutory if INSIDE the building. Parents are asked to make an appointment if they need to speak to a teacher face to face. The most effective way of communicating with staff is to send an email to LlansannorPS@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk where messgaes can be passed on to the relevant person.
We will continue to have an enhanced cleaning schedule, with frequently touched surfaces being santised regularly. Pupils, and staff, will be continuing to wash their hands regularly to reduce the spread of germs.
A thorough risk assessment has been completed and submitted by the LA.
Please can you ensure that you follow the latest government guidelines to reduce transmission.

We are so grateful to be back in school and playing with our friends in our beautiful surroundings!
We are learning about how to be grateful for the wonder and awe all around us.
