eastside cruisers christmas party
HO HO HO! Although Christmas has well and passed now, memories of the ESC Christmas Party will remain for some time! A huge thanks to committee member Paul for his hospitality letting us party on at his factory after reports of potentially inclement weather.
The food was excellent, thank you once again to Shiela for putting on a feast! Believe it or not, even Santa stopped by to hand out some presents for the kids!! The Kingswood sleigh pulled by lots of ponies was definitely an upgrade from his traditional red sleigh pulled by flying reindeer.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS CRUISE - Friday Night Cruise - 21st December
It was a dark and stormy night... Apparently only a few sleeps until Santa was due. A large group of people still mustered the courage to bring some Christmas cheer about. Here's the low down from Josh.
Our last cruise for the year was the Christmas light cruise with the weather on the night been less the perfect with spots of rain. It was great to still have such a great turnout of cars and club members. We got to see a lot of nice houses that were well into the Christmas spirit starting in Rowville and backtracking through Frentree Gully on towards Lilydale then the final stopping point in Montrose, where for the people that were there got a nice surprise (see the first pic below). It was a fantastic cruise to finish of the year. -Josh JJM93
AUSTRALIA DAY CRUISE - Special Saturday Cruise - 26th January
Whether you celebrate it or hate it, 26th of January was the club's Australia Day Cruise. Destination: San Remo Fisherman's Co-op for some amazing fish & chips.
The group was met with its challenges in the form of ridiculous traffic delays, however did eventually get to where they were going. The weather was fantastic at least, meaning it was a little easier to deal with the traffic.
SUMMERNATS - 3-6th January
Great to see Shannon, Briana and Tony head up to Summernats 32 with their cars this year.
Shannon it looked like you had an absolute field day in the burnout comps!!! Was great to hear you were able to get your fuel pump issue sorted quick smart too.
For those who may have missed Shannon's burnout when he took Street Machine's editor Dave Carey for a spin... (photo on right courtesy of Street Machine)
