Gunnar - Tour Around The World By: Gunnar Paedon

Hi, I am Gunnar Paedon, your tour guide. Today, we will be taking a tour of the world. Come and hop in this time machine with me as we visit the world!

Roman chariots were used in war, hunting and battles.

Our first stop is going to be in Rome. The Roman chariot was used in war, hunting and was a very fast and convenient way to get around town. The Roman chariots were usually very bright.

Protecting the north of China, was the Great Wall.

Imagine if you are the emperor and every day you get attacked from the north. Well, you decide to build something to protect the north. That's exactly what Emperor Qin was thinking. He started construction on the Great Wall. Even though he put to work over 3,000 people, it still took longer than expected.

The Ten commandments were the rules of god.

Next, is Israel. The ten commandments are known as "one of the seven wonders of the world." The ten commandments were made by Moses being called up onto a mountain by God. Then, lightning struck and they were made. The ten commandments are used by the Israelite's to follow the commands of God.

The pyramid used about 2.3 million blocks.

Our next stop is The Great Pyramid of Giza. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the home of Pharaoh Khufu's coffin. The Egyptians believed that if you sent essentials with the pharaoh, that the pharaoh would have those essentials to live in the afterlife. Also, the Great Pyramid used around 2.3 million blocks to build it.

The Trojan horse was a "present" from the Greeks.

After the Troys beat the Greeks in a war, the Greeks wanted to get back. So, they sent a "present" to them to get inside the walls. But, some Greek men were actually inside the horse. After the horse got in the wall, the Greeks jumped out, and gave havoc to Troy.

That is all for today. Thank you for taking a tour around the world with me. And I hope that you keep learning more about these things!
