What is Racial Discrimination? Racial discrimination is treating individuals differently because of their race or color. Federal law prohibits race discrimination in the workplace and incidents of race discrimination can take many forms, in the workplace particularly?

Why are people protesting over Civil Rights and Racial Discrimination? People are protesting because they are mad that because their culture or skin color, they get treated differently or disrespected. Racial Discrimination has been going on for a long while, an it needs to stop.

What are recent protest? On April 12, 2015, Baltimore Police Department officers arrested Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African American resident of Baltimore, Maryland. Gray sustained injuries to his neck and spine while in transport in a police vehicle. On April 18, 2015, after Gray's subsequent coma, the residents of Baltimore protested in front of the Western district police station. Gray died the following day, April 19, 2015, a week after the arrest. This Sparked a huge riot in Baltimore. They were protesting because to is to many incidents of police brutality and they have had enough.

In August 2014, BLM members organized their first in-person national protest in the form of a "Black Lives Matter Freedom Ride" to Ferguson, Missouri after the shooting of Michael Brown. More than five hundred members descended upon Ferguson to participate in non-violent demonstrations. The phrase "All Lives Matter" sprang up as a response to the Black Lives Matter movement. However, "All Lives Matter" has been criticized for dismissing or misunderstanding the message of "Black Lives Matter". Following the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, the hashtag Blue Lives Matter was created by supporters of the police. This turned into a violent protest.

There is many more protest about Racial dicscrimination, and it's not just black lives. There is also culture, realigon and other colored people.
