When there's nowhere else to run

Is there room for one more son

One more son

If you can hold on

If you can hold on, hold on

I want to stand up, I want to let go

You know, you know - no you don't, you don't

I want to shine on in the hearts of men

I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

Another head aches, another heart breaks

I am so much older than I can take

And my affection, well it comes and goes

I need direction to perfection, no no no no

Help me out

Yeah, you know you got to help me out

Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner

You know you got to help me out

And when there's nowhere else to run

Is there room for one more son

These changes ain't changing me

The cold-hearted boy I used to be

My name is Edmond Kam

I live in larchmont, New York, with my sister and parents

I am sometimes fourteen

I have majestic passion and a soulful mind though it is true most of my summer was playing

mlb16 the show on my PS4 in my sleeping area.

I used to be black, but now my hair is black

I used to be tired, but now I'm tired

I used to be energetic, but now I'm tired

It is true I love Americas pastime

It is true I love music

I like an avocado roll, you know the kind that I mean? soy sauce on the side? Some chopsticks.

But I digress.

My story starts long before I arrived to larchmont. June of the summer I was four.I ran off to

mamaroneck for a girl I loved more than New York named Thea. That's my dog.

Back than I was a amazing toddler unsure of the world that lies ahead. But my dog was

awesome I can tell you that. I loved her. I loved my puppy.back then should would go on walks.

She was cute and fluffy. She liked her own paw. She was found of sleeping all day. Most

importantly she was found of me...eting other dogs.

An ode to Samory

An ode ...long over due

His presence is a blessing

When he walks into a room

Other people stop walking and watch

He is Samory

He once turn the power back on

Compromised with his laughter

For the shadows are no match for him

He is Samory

No buttchecks are a match for him

No case of bronchitis will make him ill

When he eats their will be only one meal on his dish

Pastrami on wheat with bread and chicken nuggets

He is Samory

A correct metaphor for him is the energizer bunny but more energetic

His laugh can end the Scariest of wars

And start the best game in the NFL

He is Samory

In all seriousness. It's something as simple as seeing Samory laughing in morning that can get me through a rough day. And isn't that what life's about.

Once upon a time there were three princesses that lived in three kingdoms, all three of the

princess's have their own set of three castles with three rooms and three beds and three

nightstands and three dogs and all had three daughters. Except one of the princesses. The

father of the three princesses believed in a away of living. Living by a number. Three. But one of

the daughters was only able too bare one child. When the child grew up she realized something

that everyone was treating her differently, treating her like she was a torn and pieced back

together teddy bear, with a taped eye in the shape of an X. From her perspective she did

something wrong she was different and not three she always felt alone and scared and though

the family would never talk to the girl and she wasn't allowed to talk to the girl what she didn't

realize is that the relatives staring at her were looking at her because she was better. She had

changed the future and made a stance and was brave and courageous. Unfortunately her family

never talked to her and she never talked to her family so they never found out each other's

feelings. When the girl turned 23 she moved away to a land where everyone was themselves

and nobody looked at each for being who they are. And she lived happily ever after. The End.

A Good Day

I woke up and didn't know what to expect. I was told that I should set my expectations higher than normal for my 14th birthday. How high was too high? When i woke up my dad made me open a card on of what appeared to be a new Nike jumpsuit. The card said that i was needed at pro swing a local baseball sports complex near my house. But I had been their before taking BP and fielding practice. But my expectations were set high. When I got to the complex Nelson Figoura a former baseball was their. He was going to some baseball with me for an hour. I had never played baseball with a baseball player before. My expectations were met and I don't know why but that felt satisfying.

1946

My grandfather has an old car. To be more specific, two. His oldest was a 1946 De Soto. First de soto made after world war 2.Chrysler later bought de soto. De soto slogan was “delightful delovely it's desoto”. In This time era, De soto's were used as cabs. How do I know all this? Whenever my grandfather and I take the desoto for a spin it's my job to tell people who stop us by a bit about the car. While my grandfather has an authentic white fedora sitting behind the back seat. The car has two couches instead of chair. It's practically a metal can with fabric. But who can ask for anything more.

Buying Shoes

When i was young i used to buy shoes in a different mindset.i want this shoe because it's unique and cool. Or it stands out from all the rest. Now I buy shoes thinking how they feel or look for the future. Will these shoes look pretty disgusting in a month. But is this about shoes. I now have an outlook knowing the worst is going to happen so don't live for today. “Live like there's no tomorrow” right? But I do know there's a tomorrow. And now i'm living like there's “ no yesterday”

How do the pieces capture you and your story?

They all show who I am. With the different writing techniques and different voices towards the reader. I'm always performing even when I write.

How do the pieces relate to one another?

They all show the beauty of moving towards tomorrow. The moving part is the reason for the cars.

What did they help you understand about yourself, your life, and/or the world around you?

How much I enjoy the things I do even if they're not going my way. I also learned how amazing storys are and how unique each one can be.
