Australia & Tasmania 2019 Tom Bol Photo Workshops

Our workshop started in the vibrant city of Melbourne. Our hotel on the Yarra River was a short walk away from Melbourne's famous painted alleyways.

We took our first stop on the Great Ocean Road in the town of Lorne. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are wild in Australia and can be seen along the road sides in large numbers. We saw exotic birds every day of our tour.

We photographed wild koalas in the eucalyptus forests right off the Great Ocean Road.

The Twelve Apostles were the highlight of our landscape shooting near the town of Port Campbell

We used ten frame multiple exposures to create silky water during the midday sun.

Cradle Mountain National Park is nestled in Tasmania's mountains deep in the eucalyptus forest. This area was the highlight of our trip for wildlife photography.

Binalong Bay is known for its fantastic landscapes. The bright orange lichens attracts photographers from around the world.

Mount Field National Park was our final landscape destination....with plentiful waterfalls and Tasmania's iconic rough tree ferns.

The colorful town of Hobart was the final destination for our tour. An elegant seafood dinner overlooking the historic harbor was the perfect ending to our adventure in Australia.
