Mrs. Gann is a 4th grade teacher in the elementary. She teaches math and science.

She has been married to her husband, John, for 10 years. They have one daughter, Paisley is 8 years old and they have a goldendoodle named Pixie.

When asked why Mrs. Gann chose education as a career path, her response was,

"My dad was a high school football coach/teacher and my mom was a PE teacher so I grew up at the school. Playing school was my favorite! I have always had a passion for teaching. Watching my students grow up and be successful makes me happy!"

Outside of the classroom Mrs. Gann says that she loves to shop, spend time with family and friends, play games, running, and Starbucks!

Mrs. Gann's favorite book to read with her students is Charlotte's Web. She says that this book is an awesome example of true friendship, sacrifice, and overcoming obstacles in our lives. Its about being optimistic and seeing the good in others! We need to find ways to build each other up... not tear each other down!

She says that her favorite part of the year is the end of the year! Mrs Gann loves seeing how much her kiddos have grown both academically and as individuals! She looks forward to celebrating a successful year together with all of the end of the year events and activities!

When asked what the number one lesson she wanted her students to know when they leave her class, her response was,

"Do the RIGHT thing... even when NO ONE is looking! When given the choice between being right and being kind... choose KIND!"

Thank you Mrs. Gann for all that you do for MVISD!
