Did you know you can change the color of your folders in Drive? I have to admit that I did a little happy dance in my office the day I figured this out - I LOVE color!

The best part is it only takes 2 click of the mouse to make it happen!

Here's how to do it!

Open your Google Drive.

If you do not have your Drive bookmarked, an easy way to have access to all things Google is to go to and click on the "waffle" in the top right hand corner!

Right click on the folder.

Right click on the folder you would like to color. Then, select "Change color". Choose your favorite color from the color grid and...TADAH! COLOR CHANGE!


If you do not have any folders in your Drive and you would like to add some, click the blue New button and select Folder. Give the folder a name and you're done!

Just click and drag files to place them into your new folder!
