Students from Junction City High School: Darius (junior), Jonathan (sophomore), and Danny (junior) join together to build a tower using only spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. The students tried to reinforce the base so there was enough support to hold the tower up. Darius stated, "Next time I do this, I would make the base more supportive." Photo by Gavin Parker.
Jonathan Bell and Gavin Parker, sophomores from Junction City High School, stare at the tower they are putting together wondering how else they can add onto it. They questioned how they could construct the tower in a different way for the next time they build one. "Next time," Jonathan says, "I would change the type of tower to something wider."
