In this big, very big world there are billions of people full of life, full of different dreams and goals, and each of them is familiar with the thing which is called “Happiness”. Everyone has experienced this very pleasant feeling at least once in their life, but what is it really? None of them has ever been able to give a clear answer to this simple but at the same time so difficult question, because everyone perceives and explains it differently…
Everyone has the right to be happy, but very often, unfortunately, circumstances create such a big obstacle that sometimes a person is broken so that it seems that nothing can be changed, but sometimes he finds strength and takes steps to protect his happiness!
Everyone has their own formula of happiness.
One is happy when one day one of his greatest dreams suddenly comes true, another when he without thinking for a second helps a helpless person when needed, another when everything in the family is peaceful and one when he achieves his goal. After all, for someone else happiness is when someone just listens to him giving the key to his soul: he opens himself to the person, feeling that he is heard.
The small village of Hokami in a cozy region could not be an exception, with its extremely warm demos, who need the help of all of us, but have found in themselves a great strength never to lose hope and faith in the bright and shining future.
Those who live in the 21st century, in the "sea" of industry, many opportunities and development, are deprived of the preconditions created for human life, but still continue to be happy. But what is theirs FORMULA OF HAPPINESS?
. . .
This corner of alpine beauty is not crowded; instead there are pastures, fields, small gardens. The gentle caress of the breeze had sobered me up, stirred my inner world with a pleasant feeling. I walked through the village and talked to people with different worldviews. Opinions and comments on happiness were different. It seemed to me that the people of the village should consider happiness as a guarantee of easy living and having money, because here, contrary to the beauty of nature, the population often faces rural inconveniences and social problems. To my surprise, people think about happiness in an opposite way: purely psychological. Many of them thought the same about happiness: to have a harmonious family, “a spoon” of peace, to enjoy each other's love and respect. I came back from the village of Hokam with a powerful discovery: human values are much higher than material well-being.
Mr. Albert's Family
It’s a large family who has lived in Hokam for 14 years. It’s a family who reached a point when the waves of life tried to dislodge them. A family was able to stand on its own two feet with a broken back, and finally, regardless of everything, believes in good, the bright and looks to the future with a smile.
Albert Titoyan and his wife play with their grandchildren, the only source of their happiness.
Albert Titoyan's wife Mrs. Margarita and their grandchildren are in the living room, the children are playing, and Mrs. Margarita is looking at them.
When I was walking in Hokami, talking to people with different worldviews, a question came to my mind. What about people who do not have a family? Aren't they happy or unhappy? By searching for answers to these questions, I decided to look for and find the creature, who lives alone but continues to be happy. I was able to find her.
Mrs. Shushan
. Mrs Shushan is a 76-year-old woman who has been living alone for 40-50 years. She looks into the eyes of troubles alone and continues to be happy. She is happy and the formula of her happiness is that right, she lives alone, she overcomes difficulties alone, but she appreciates everything that the Lord has given her.
In this big and inexplicable world, right next to us, such unique and innocent creatures have been living for years, which are not like anyone in the world. They are different from us, different from everyone, they are different in everything, in their originality, their unique worldview, their unique nature and their boundless sincerity. It is these creatures that fill our lives with light, take the brush of our lives and paint it, paint it with the brightest colors. For them, there is no past, there is no future, but instead there is the present, they live in the present. These beings are so simple, so pure and innocent, that I am sure that each of us for at least a few minutes in our lives wanted to return to their world, to childhood...
Those special beings are little people, children, who are the light in our dark life. To them, this big world is so interesting, every day and every moment they discover it by asking so many innocent questions for which it is sometimes even impossible to find exhaustive answers ...
Without them it would be impossible to love humanity. Children get used to happiness at once because they are the real kind of happiness. Like us adults, they also have the formula of their happiness ... It was interesting to hear their formula.
