Dale Earnhardt first started his career as a beginner unfortunately he died, since his death he has inspired his son,who now is a nascar driver too,he is retiring in November. He is the driver that is identifiable with NASCAR is definitely Dale Earnhardt. Over the years there have been many great stock car racers from Cale Yarborough to Richard Petty and Davey Allison, (but no other name was better known than Dale Earnhardt.)
Dale Earnhardt came from a family of stock car racers. Dale’s father being a racer himself knew how hard it was to start racing. (That is the main reason he tried to keep Dale from dropping out of high school to race.) They even offered Dale a new car to keep him in high school.
Dale Earnhardt’s grandpa was also a racer. Dale was not very close to him though. In an interview Dale said that he regretted not knowing his grandpa very well.
Dale Earnhardt has been a big (inspiration) to a lot of people. Since his death NASCAR has changed the way cars are made like where the seat belts go and now it is much safer for NASCAR drivers. Dale Earnhardt is a great person in general and everybody just loves him,his loss was a tragedy.
