Mustangs Lose Both Ends Of DH, To Drop Series To Messiah

The Stevenson baseball team was kept off the scoreboard in game one thanks to a complete game shutout for Messiah College pitcher Jordan Nichols by a final of 3-0. Then, in game two the Mustangs once again fell behind early before rallying back to knot the game at 4-4 before succumbing to the Falcons 6-5 in a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Starry Athletic Complex. -- STORY

Luterman and DeLong Lead Mustangs To Win Over Messiah

The Stevenson baseball team got three RBIs each from freshman Matt Luterman and senior Zachary DeLong to rally back from a 4-3 deficit to bring down the Falcons of Messiah College by a 9-4 final in game one of a weekend three-game MAC Commonwealth series on Friday afternoon at Sugar Field. -- STORY

Terrell's Strong Day Not Enough For Mustangs In Loss To Catholic

The Stevenson baseball team had a 3-0 lead through two, but the host Catholic University Cardinals used a five-run third to take the lead and never look back defeating the Mustangs by a final of 8-5 on Wednesday afternoon. The Stevenson University women's beach volleyball team picked up its second victory of the weekend against Huntingdon College on Sunday by a 4-1 score. The Mustangs also defeated the Liberty University club team 5-0. -- STORY

Maisel Finishes Tied For Second, Mustangs Third at Goucher Invite

Senior Josh Maisel took second overall after shooting a four-over par 76 on the second and final day of the Goucher Invitational, held at the Hillendale Country Club. Maisel improved on his opening round score by two strokes, putting him just two shots back of tournament winner Ben Ailsworth of Lynchburg. The third-ranked and second-seeded Stevenson University men's volleyball team fell behind early in every set except for the fifth and while rallying back on two separate occasions trailing 1-0 and 2-1 to level the scores at 1-1 and 2-2. However, the Mustangs dropped a tightly contest final set 15-13 to fall to the host and top-seeded Arcadia University Knights by a final of 3-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference championship match on Saturday night at Alumni Gymnasium. Senior Duo Lead Mustangs Back To MAC Final With Win Over Messiah

The third-ranked Stevenson men's volleyball team got a combined 20 kills, four digs, four aces, and two blocks between seniors Landon Shorts and Jason Gardner to help the second-seeded Mustangs down the visiting third seed Messiah College Falcons by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night in a Middle Atlantic Conference semi-final at Owings Mills Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16, and 25-21. -- STORY
