GEE GEES Footbal UOttawa vs McMaster

3000 plus fans attended Gee Gees stadium on Saturday September 10th to watch the UOttawa Gee Gees take on the visiting McMaster Marauders. What was billed as a showdown of All Star quarterbacks turned out to be the Derek Wendell air attack. Wendell went 35/47 for 441 yards and 3 touch downs.

The teams battled back and forth for the first half with both Defences forcing turnovers, but it was the Gee Gees finishing the the first half with a four point lead, Gee Gees 10 and the Marauders 6.

Defence Wins Championships, and it never hurts to have an All Star Quarterback.

Despite tha rain the crowds stayed and cheered their team on to victory.

The second half was all Gee Gees with scores By Bryce Vieira and two scores by Mitchell Baines. The rain didn't seem to play a factor for the Gee Gees or the fans.

In the end the Gee Gees were too much for the McMaster Marauders to handle. The final score UOttawa 30 and McMaster Marauders 8.
