Intermediate Digital Photo P2-05 photos through the eyes

My photography is about taking pictures of nature and things in nature. I take picture in nature because i just like nature and the beauty in it. I usually take picture whenever I'm out doing thing around town and something catches my eye. I love photography because i like to take photos as more of a hobby not a profession. Taking photos should be fun and easy.

From this project i learned about taking pictures with no subject in it and still telling a story about family. This pictures were taken with a phone camera so the quality isn't the best. This pictures were taken no the way to New Mexico and back to Arizona for Thanksgiving. The main edits I did to them was to crop them and also change the contrast and the blacks and whites. The compositions in these three pictures are depth, cropping and negative space.

This project was all about composition. I learned a lot of new compositions and new editing skills. I took this pictures with a canon. I planed to use leading lines, rule of thirds, and simple background. I used Lightroom to edit these. I edited the contrast, brightness, blacks, whites and exposure.

Before and after lighting

These pictures are of Christmas decorations. They are taken before and after manipulating light in some way. The first picture is of a snowman globe. I used basic flash to illuminate the subject and get more detail in the picture. I edited the contrast and brightness. The second picture is of a fake candle decoration. I edited it with clarity and contrast. The final photo is of the angel and tree. I bounced light on to it. I edited it with clarity, contrast, and brightness. The light really brings out the detail and color.
