College Prep Moving for the 19-20 School Year

As you may have already heard, we are excited to announce that the College Prep program will be moving to the existing DaVinci High School building for the 2019-2020 school year! DaVinci made the decision to move from it's Jackson College location to be closer to Baker College in downtown Jackson. As a result of this decision, Jackson College purchased their building and will be leasing it to JPEC for our College Prep program. The Early College program will stay at our current location. Obviously, there are a lot of plans and decisions to be made, and we will keep you updated along the way. If you have any questions, please direct them to Debra Holton at debra.holton@jacksonpec.org. You can also join us for our Community Forum on June 18, from 6-8 pm at the Carnegie Branch of the Jackson District Library.

Message Space Available in the Falcon Press

Want to wish your friend, student, a family member a happy birthday, congratulations, or good luck message? Do it so they can't miss it! For 20$ you can purchase a business card sized "shout out!" advertisement in The Falcon Press! See or email Conner Richards, Advertising Editor or Scarlet H. Sager, Advisor and provide your message with cash or check and it will appear in our next issue in April 2019. Deadline for ads for this issue is April 20, 2019.

Updated Dress Code for 2019-2020

As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to make sure we supply you with a copy of the most updated dress code policy for next year. There have been no major changes to the existing policy, rather a few clarifications on specific items, which are highlighted within the document. There is a link at the end to Frenchtoast.com, where we have an approved school catalogue to purchase items at a reasonable cost. Please make sure to reference the attached dress code policy prior to shopping for next school year. Thank you!

Cell Phones In Class

Just a reminder to all CP students and families: the use of cell phones is not permitted in class. You may check your phones in between classes or at lunch, but they must remain off or on silent and out of sight while in the classroom unless specifically stated otherwise by your teachers.

Student Absences

Parents: Please be sure to call the front office as soon as possible in the morning if your child is ill and is going to be absent. It is important for us to be able to keep accurate attendance records, and this will help! The office phone # is 768-7093. If your student is absent due to a medical or dental appointment, please bring a doctor's note so we can excuse the absence. Thank you!

JPEC Wellness Website

Please visit our wellness website that focuses on health, wellness, fitness and nutrition for our Falcon families. It also has snack lists and pricing for items available for purchase during lunch breaks. Click on the link below to check it out!
