What is human trafficking? Human trafficking is the action or practice of illegally transporting people from one country or area to another, typically for the purposes of forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation.

There are many forms of human trafficking, the list goes on and on. Human trafficking remains an issue that goes all over United States. According to some estimates approximately 80% of trafficking involves sexual exploitation, and 19% involves labor exploitation. There are 20-30 million slaves in the world today.

Some of the young females end up pregnant or getting a disease for being forced into sex labor.

How can human trafficking be stopped? you can get involved by joining organizations, be aware of your surroundings.
