Lesson 1

When I first touched the keys not being able to see where my fingers laid, I was terrified, i'm not good with computers. Now that I think back to it, it's not that bad. I'm starting to really like it. Me fingers don't cramp up as much anymore. Being put in this class was a mistake, but i'm kinda glad I decided to stay. I really hope we get a chance to learn how to deal with basic computer problems. Can't wait for what's to come. I'm excited!!

Lesson 2

what will make a good employee?Employees who meet deadlines will most likely be well organized and responsible. Since you have given your employee a particular deadline, you expect that he/she will meet it. If he/she maintains a clean, organized work space and is present at work.Arriving at work on time help you know that you can trust your employee to be there each day. Employers know all too well about employees who arrive late with a variety of excuses, so a punctual and available employee will provide peace of mind.

Lesson 3

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. A URL is nothing more than the address of a given unique resource on the Web. In theory, each valid URL points to a unique resource. Such resources can be an document, an image, etc.. As the resource represented by the URL and the URL itself are handled by the Web server, it is up to the owner of the web server to carefully manage that resource and its associated URL.Any URL can be typed right inside the browser's address bar to get to the resource behind it. But this is only the tip of the iceberg!

A URL is the fundamental network identification for resource connected to the web. .com represents the word "commercial," and is the most used extension. Most businesses prefer a .com domain name because it is a recognized symbol for having a business presence on the Internet web sites. For those who do know, the definition of a domain extension is the notation at the end of a web address that specifies an Internet category.

If you don't take school seriously, it may affect your whole future. Success in school matters a lot for those who want to start early on going to the best schools, getting the best jobs, and making the most of themselves and is what determines your future. One thing that will help you out in school is to get your homework after school. Time management is essential. If you're given an assignment that's due next week, don't procrastinate. You should get started within a few days of receiving the assignment. The more time you have, the less you'll stress. And if you already have your work done you don't have to come up with silly excuses for not doing your work on time. GET YOUR WORK TURNED IN !!!

Lesson 7

When it comes to typing/learning how to type correctly, i find it interesting. Truly i thought i was going to suck at typing. The most difficult part about typing and having your fingers a certain way on the keys is well, i have small fingers and its kinda hard getting my fingers adjusted. Other than that i like getting to know more about computers.

If you don't give a computer exact instructions, they become confused and make mistakes. Telling a computer what you want it to do is sometimes hard because you have to explain things very carefully give vivid detail .The syntax of programming language is designed to allow for programs that are extremely terse, have a close relationship with the resulting object code, and yet provide relatively high-level data abstraction. The development of this syntax was a major milestone in the history of the computer industry as it was the first widely successful high-level language for operating-system development.

Topic: 3-4 sentences regarding what errors came up as they were coding in Javascript and where these errors came up on the screen.

Well i'm not that good at working computers and i tried to keep up with all the directions but i got lost and i didn't understand what i had to do. The Java practice was over all okay just another thing i had to get done. It was interesting

What works can be copyrighted and what works cannot be copyrighted, most people ask them self while doing roaming the web. Nowadays the Internet is a wide-open source for information, entertainment, and communication.Sometimes, in a quest for knowledge and entertainment Internet users cross over a hidden line. Without proper knowledge, users unintentionally break the copyright laws that govern the Internet. However, copyright laws are in effect in today's cyberspace.

What the purpose of a cover letter? Well cover letters can be confusing, at lest for most High School students, like myself. With the easy use of Google and reading a few papers on the topic, i now understand. A cover letter is the way you represent yourself. One of the biggest problems job seekers have with writing cover letters is figuring out exactly what they're supposed to include. Between an application form, a resume and a list of references, the employer already has plenty of information about you – or so it seems, anyway. So what could a cover letter possibly add?

Why is proofreading a Cover Letter and Resume Extremely Important? Well you see young adults my age will soon be applying for jobs and your mom wont always be there holding your hand. Its time for you to look after yourself. You want the person reading your email, or such, know that you are serious about the opportunity. You have to think about your future in this case, how will you never get a high paying job when you show the amazing qualities you have. Its so very important to proofread a resume and cover letter that you might be sending out to someone to important.

Lesson 17

“Bear” can mean to carry or it can mean to tolerate. The word “bare” sounds like “bear” but it is spelled differently and the two have different meanings. These tricky words and many others like them are members of a group of words called homophones. Homophones can be really hard to understand at time.

Lovely report Teenage Alcohol written by Jennifer Simek touch my heart, kinda hit home for me as a person with people in my life struggling with alcohol abuse. Jennifer gave some great advice on how parents could help their kids avoid alcohol or how to move on from it. She gives examples and how to deal with such topic.

Lesson 19

Well thinking that most people use Word for many types of reasons. People trying to build up their business or someone that in college that has a paper due in about 2 weeks for an English class. It a sense of style. Give it a little bit of pop, i like it. Make it original, something that isn't just black letters.

Lesson 20

I didn't know that there was such thing as a " Autosum". Thats amazing and someone that does charts and tables on computers for as a job, its in their favor. It saves time and keeps you away from making an error.

Lesson 21

(What is the purpose of a chart)

On most electronics, you have access Microsoft Excel, which allows you to create charts for such needs. In my opinion the purpose of a chart is to be more organized. To have things in order.

When it comes to doing assignments on PowerPoint, I struggle a bit. I like being creative and having my own style to the work i do. It gets difficult with the editing but as long as it looks pretty

Lesson 23

I think your personal history/timeline is important because its who you are. its your culture, the way you live. I think knowing who's in your family tree is pretty important, you can see if their genes passed on. i find it very entertaining to get the opportunity to check out how many of your family members kook like you.

Transitions during a Power Point presentation connects the slides in such a way to drag attention. It gives it a sense of excitement. Transitions play a very important roll in such presentation, its something different and new
