Image and Substance. These two words are paramount in describing UCLA Athletics, and they continue to remain prevalent as the Bruins officially entered into a new era in partnership with Under Armour.
In keeping with the tradition of the University of California, UCLA's official school colors are blue and gold. More specifically, UCLA Athletics will use Powderkeg Blue and Westwood Gold as its primary color scheme.
The primary UCLA Athletics logo remains the UCLA script but has been updated by removing the black drop shadow and the tail under the four letters.
The secondary UCLA Athletics logo is an arched UCLA wordmark in the Bruin Block font.
Champions Made Here
The UCLA Athletic Department slogan, Champions Made Here, has a new logo and will remain a consistent theme in all athletic endeavors. The logo, which is modeled after Coach John Wooden's Pyramid of Success, will be emblazoned on team uniforms.
UCLA's uniforms will now employ a consistent font. Names and numbers will be in the custom typeface Bruin Block. This proprietary font incorporates John Wooden's Pyramid of Success, with each number made up of tiny triangles.
The UCLA Stripe
The UCLA stripe, which has been a staple for UCLA Football, will be featured on Bruin uniforms across all sports.
Fans will get their first look at the UCLA Football uniforms on July 15. That day, season ticket holders can see the uniforms in person at the exclusive Bruin Viewin' event at the Rose Bowl. The uniforms will also be unveiled on UCLA's social media channels that day.
