My name is Andy Critz, band director at Wayne Co. Schools! I am blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart Jessica and the proud father of twins, Cadence and Carson Critz. Pictured
Background: My love for music began in 6th grade, where I was a part of the Adair Co. Band Program. I started as a trombone player in 6th grade. In 7th grade, my band director, Tim Allen, asked me to be a part of the marching band and switched me to tuba. After High School I attended the University of Kentucky where I continued the study of music with George Boulden, Richard Clary, and Skip Gray. I participated in the Wildcat Marching Band, Pep Band, Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, Concert Band, Orchestra, and other small chamber ensembles. Music is an activity that I still love to do! You can still find me performing with the Somerset Big Band and with the Oak Hill Baptist Church Orchestra in Somerset, KY.

My name is Tyler Cook, assistant band director at Wayne County Schools! I am blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart Miranda and blessed with my pet family of one, Archie.
Background: My love for music began in 5th grade where I was a part of the Monticello Independent School Band Program. I started as a percussionist in 5th grade and switched to Wayne County Schools in 6th grade. I was in band all through high school at Wayne County. After High School I attended Lindsey Wilson College where I continued the study of music with Tim Allen and Tony Patterson. I participated in the LWC Marching Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Concert Band. Music is an activity that I am very passionate about even to this day. My students, if asked, would quote me, "I love what I do," and for that they could not be closer to the truth.
