The Lawrence Farmers Market has recently received funding to help link up local suppliers with their community. In order to help small businesses grow and encourage a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle for their community. They would like to commission you to create 'The Veg Box' app which showcases different local produce and allows the consumer to purchase them in one easy 'Veg Box'.
Tips
They want the design and layout to be easy and intuitive for people to use. They are looking for an attractive and modern design to help encourage people to use the app. They are in the early stages of the project and would like to see an initial template design of the app.
Suggestions
Consider adding small icons which illustrate the different products available such as dairy, meat, vegetables and baked goods. (And flex your Illustrator skills) Have a think about the style that you would like to go for and aim to keep it colorful and nice and simple to use.
To start with, go and research the 'foodie' apps which are out there already and choose a style that you would like to go for that sets you apart from the crowd. Remember, this project is in the initial design stages so aim to create something which is really fresh and exciting to engage the client and get on board with your designs!
