I traveled west of Yale Oklahoma to meet up with a group of other PHOTOGS for the annual Civil War reenactment of the Battle of Round Mountain. This has been a favorite outing of our group for many years now.
Photographing the battles and trying to catch muzzle flashes is a lot of fun. It's also quite rewarding to spend some time talking with the reenactors and photographing them in their camps.
The reenactment causes us to reflect on the cost in human life levied by our Civil War.
