Rudolph Valentino was an Italian actor. He was born on the 6th of May, 1885. He died on the 23rd of August, 1926. He died at age 31 of pleurisy.

The actor was known as the "Great Lover". He starred on silent films including The Sheik, Blood and Sand and other movies. His acting career made him famous. He filmed lots of famous movies.

One of his famous quotes was "Women are not in love with me but with the picture of me on the screen. I am merely the canvas on which women paint their dreams". He was very loved by his audience. He was popular for his silent films.
