Donatello The Ninja Turtle A DIY BY CARSON REESE

I did my DIY on Donatello one of the 4 ninja turtles. Out of all four of them he is the smartest and highly skilled in ninjutsu. My stick consists of V cut "rope" marks around my stick

DAY ONE....

First off I had to go hunt for a stick the first stick I found, I found in Noth Carolina and when we got back that Monday. I had to get all of the bark off of the stick and while doing that my stick completely broke in half so I had to find another stick....

DAY TWO.....

That next day I had to go find another stick behind my house and I finally found one so I brought it to Coach G that morning and that 6th period and when I was carving I found out that it was a horrible stick so then again I had to go and find another stick the next morning....

DAY THREE.....

The morning off this I had to go out and find another stick and I finally found the perfect stick and to see if it was good I hit it against the tree, and it withstood the force. That day I finally got to carving my stick was a little wet but it was alright it would dry out. So I got most off the bark off of my stick.

DAY FOUR.....

I had to get all the bark off my stick and I didn't want it to have spots all over the stick so I got it to where the whole stick was a blonde-ish color

DAY FIVE...

I had to start carving ropes into my stick and getting all the excess bark and stuff like that off My stick and I had to use the sand paper and sand my whole stick till it was smooth.

DAY SIX....

I used this sanding tool that helped me get stick moth more fast.... and I also cut like rope things into it so it looks more wavy..

DAY SEVEN...

On this day I finally got to stain my stick... I decided to stain my stick a little darker so it looks more like donatellos bo staff

DAY EIGHT...

On this day I finished everything and turned my stick in to coach gadomski
