What is theology of the body

The “Theology of the Body” is St. John Paul II's integrated vision of the human person. The human body has a specific meaning, making visible an invisible reality, and is capable of revealing answers regarding fundamental questions about us and our lives.

How Does Popular Culture's View of Human Sexuality Compare to the Theology of the Body

The theology of the body contradicts popular culture in that popular culture expresses a message of free sexuality and that sex is good so that it is always good no matter who with or the circumstances. Theology of the body teaches sex is great but when done with your spouse and only your spouse.

What are the differences between men and women

  • Women pay more attention to words in their communication than men do.
  • Men tend to solve their problems by themselves while women share their problems.
  • Females mature faster than males.
  • Men think about sex more than women.

How do theses differences help to understand what it means to be male than female.

We understand from this that other than biology the genders are completely different in their psyche. Men are typically more sexual than women which drives them in courtship. Women are much more social and share things like a unit. Men try to be more independent.

How should males and females act on a date

Males and females should be respectful of each other and they should keep their modesty. They don't need to rush. They should be like close friends and like eachothers company. This way the date is like a friendship other than a lustfull hookup.
