Sri Lanka is a developing country. It's developing because their GDP per capita is 6,500 which is pretty low and there is not very much you can do with $6,500. Another reason why Sri Lanka is developing is that the life expectancy is 76.35 years. That isn't high but is not high enough to meet the requirements for a developed country. The last reason why Sri Lanka is not a developed is their literacy rate is 91.2% . so that meas that almost 10% of the population can read and write. So those people will not get good jobs which also decrease their income.
