The Choir with No Name. A grassroots charity that provides support to homeless & marginalised people, creating space for music, friendship, building confidence & creating life skills that support members in moving out of homelessness, for good.
With 4 choirs across London, Brighton, Liverpool & Birmingham, the charity supports over 170 members with weekly rehearsals, shared meals and live events.
On the 10th of October 2019, for World Homelessness Day, The Choir with No Name will release a collectively recorded single & video, their heartwarming version of the hit 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman.
Our aim is to celebrate diversity & personality, moving away from defining people through homelessness.
“We are football fans, dog lovers, students and musicians. We’re not a nameless, homogenous mass of ‘the homeless’. We want the world to see homelessness as a systemic problem, not a personal affliction, and get engaged in the fight to end it.”
This is where we need you. Take part in our campaign to end stigma & raise awareness by celebrating people everywhere. Join our choir members by sharing three words that sum you up, perfectly (or imperfectly!)
