SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS CHAPEL (9 JULY)
As we began the second semester, Rev Simon Ang (Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Singapore; alumnus 1993), challenged the college community from 2 Samuel 6 on how God seeks to dwell with those who love His presence. Like little-known Obededom, we may feel unworthy of a special visit from God Himself, yet He is seeking to make a divine detour into our lives to bless us. At the altar, we felt the presence of God as we surrendered our hearts in openness to the love and goodness of God.

COLLEGE RETREAT (11-14 JULY)
Our college retreat guest speaker, Rev Irvin Rutherford, told us astonishing testimonies that made us shiver with excitement at the reality of God’s greatness. He challenged us to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve God and lead His people.
Spending time together as a learning community, away from the hustle of city life in Singapore, was also fun and gave us opportunities to interact and fellowship with other students and teachers in an informal setting. We thank God for the presence of His Holy Spirit that refreshed and recharged us for the challenges ahead.
