FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO CAN ATTEND THE 2018 ADOBE EDUCATION LEADERS SUMMIT?

The London AEL Summit is open to any current Adobe Education Leaders and invited guests.

Other select members of the Adobe Education community may attend specific parts of the summit by invitation only. An invitation to the Open Lunch on Sunday 2nd November will be extended to selected ACLs, AETs and other associates. Let us know if you have suggestions of non AELs who we should invite.

WHAT COSTS ARE COVERED BY ADOBE, AND WHAT COSTS SHOULD I PLAN TO COVER MYSELF?

  • ACCOMMODATION: The Adobe team has booked the Hoxton Hotel checking in Friday 2nd November and checking out on Sunday 4th November. Adobe covers the cost of your accommodation for the nights of Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd of November. However, you will need to give a credit card or debit card details to cover any additional expenses at the hotel only that you may opt for. If you need to arrive early or stay late, your additional hotel stays are not covered by Adobe and are your responsibility.
  • FOOD: Adobe covers all meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner) beginning with Meet and Greet Reception on Day 1 and ending with afternoon tea on Day 2. There will be a full breakfast offered at the Hoxton on Saturday (you'll get breakfast bags as well if you want them). Make sure you fill in the form for your breakfast bag for Sunday morning as we are not eating breakfast in the hotel as we are having brunch late morning when we visit Somerset House.
  • TRANSPORT: You are responsible for your all your travel costs to the Hoxton Hotel, Shoreditch. Transport from the Hoxton to Somerset House and the Design Museum are included. If are staying on at the Hoxton and require transport back to the hotel Sunday evening then this cost will need to be covered by you.

WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO ARRIVE IN LONDON?

The summit officially kicks off at 5:00PM on Friday 2nd November but you can check in at the hotel from 3:00PM.

HOW DO I GET TO THE HOXTON HOTEL?

The nearest tube station to the Hoxton Hotel is Old Street which is on the Northern Line and is also a National Rail station. The hotel is a short walk from Old Street Station.

CHECKING OUT

Unless you have opted to stay Sunday night at The Hoxton (cost not covered by Adobe) you will need to check out Sunday morning before we leave for Somerset House so please make sure you leave enough time to do this - we have to leave promptly at 8:30am. You will only have additional costs if you opted to stay extra nights and bought your own food or drink outside of the event schedule.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
