This is the perfect location to chill with friends or go to access a beautiful and accessible mountain landscape. Bring some water, snacks, and your own personal items to enjoy a day at the lake! Renting a paddle board or shoal tent is highly reccommended!

Friday, July 9 - Start your trip by seeing the Sahtu by air by departing Yellowknife on North-Wright Airways at 2:30 pm to fly to Norman Wells through Fort Good Hope or Deline and Tulita. Arrive at 6 pm in Norman Wells. You will have the evening to stroll the beaches of the Mackenzie River, check out the town of Norman Wells, or enjoy a round of golf at the Royal Canadian Legion golf course.

Saturday, July 10 - Start your day by heading out to the North-Wright Airways float base at DOT Lake where you will depart for your excursion of the day. You will return later that evening, so be sure to consider bringing food with you or planning your meal when you return.

Sunday, July 11, 9 am - Fly back to Yellowknife and get a chance to process the amazing experience before heading back to work.
Total Price: $928.35 per person includes taxes and fees, return trip from Yellowknife to Norman Wells with 60lbs baggage and roundtrip ticket on a Floatplane all the way to Kelly Lake and back with 30lbs baggage allowance! YOUR NEXT DESTINATION: HIKE HISTORY IN A DAY THROUGH THE CANOL TRAIL
If you have always wanted to check out the Canol Road, jump on this trip! Take a guided short hike from Dodo Lake through the rugged terrain to the canyon where the Canol Road runs through. Must be physically comfortable with hiking.

EXPLORE YOUR WILD SIDE: CARCAJOU LAKE
Enjoy the spectacular flight into the mountains before landing on the pristine emerald green Carcajou Lake. The lake provides for excellent canoeing and fishing. Take some time to hike to the nearby waterfalls that flow out of the limestone cliffs and look for wildlife.
