Mars By: Grant Lonneman

Other wise known as Ares to some.

Mars, aka "Ares", is one of the sons of Zeus and Hera. Known as the God of War, is image is more of a brutal strength and determination which is completely different from that of his sister, Athena, who is the god of military strategy and intelligence.

"Ares killing Poseidon"

Ares is actually well know for switching sides in battles because he could not control his anger and rage, which is one of the reasons the Greeks did not worship him very much. One of the most interesting facts for me about Ares is that in the Roman mythology, he is known as the "Father to the Roman People".
