Meal Plans

Meal Plan Options

All students living on-campus in university housing will be assigned DEFAULT MEAL PLAN "B". The Default Meal Plan (14 Meals Per Week + $350 Flex per Semester) can be changed on or before the first day of class of each semester/term. All meal plans are NOT available to all students. Please refer to the chart below.

  • F - Freshmen: On campus freshmen are required to select these plans
  • U - Upper Classman: available to sophomores, juniors and seniors
  • O - Off Campus or Commuter

"Meals" or "Swipes" are used to access Williams and The Marketplace Dining Halls and Simply To-Go.

Flex and Dining Dollars work just like a debit card. Running low on meal swipes? No problem–you may use Flex or Dining Dollars to pay the door rate. For details on the difference between Flex and Dining Dollars, visit our website www.ncatdining.com.

Dietary Needs

Allergens and dietary restrictions can sometimes make meals challenging and Aggie Dining is always happy to help serve as a resource. We will work to accommodate any special dietary needs.

In Williams and The Marketplace Dining Halls look for our menu identifiers, which outline nutritional information, ingredients and to help easily display vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and Mindful options.

MINDFUL creates meals that balance nutrition with enticing flavors to create an indulgent way to enjoy healthy eating. Our executive chefs and registered dietitians work together to create an exciting collection of Mindful recipes. We focus on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity so that making Mindful choices become second nature.

Plant-Based Menus

For students who love to plan out their meals, the Bite app is a perfect tool to use! Within Bite, you can create customized meal plans based on the menu for today, complete with nutritional information and ingredients.

WILLIAMS DINING HALL has a wide range of options, including meatless meals, plant-based cold-bar, a build-your-own international station featuring soy nuggets and tofu. Williams also features Meatless Mondays each week.

THE MARKETPLACE DINING HALL is nut-free zone, avoiding peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, sesame seeds, and soy. This facility also features a vegetarian station offering both cold and hot plant-based entrees.

Local, Sustainable.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Locally Sourced

Aggie Dining purchases locally whenever possible for the freshest ingredients in our recipes. We source sustainable seafood, eggs from cage-free chickens, ethically and responsibly sourced coffee, and fresh milk from local dairy farms.

Currently we source 8% of our produce and fresh ingredients locally and have a goal to hit 10% by 2022. This is all a part of our commitment to support our community and feature local farmers whenever possible.

Fresh Market

Each year, Aggie Dining partners with local vendor, Freshpoint, to host a Fresh Market in Williams Dining Hall. This market is an opportunity for students and staff to speak with a farming expert to answer any questions they may have in regards to local sourcing.

The Fresh Market is just one of the many ways Aggie Dining features local farms each and every day!
