Strong Pitching Leads To Doubleheader Sweep Over Hood

The Stevenson baseball team got a one-hit complete game shutout by senior starting pitcher James Wiercinski and a strong outing in relief on the mound from freshman Malcolm Edelin in game two as the Mustangs swept a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader against the visiting Hood College Blazers by scores of 1-0 and 3-2 (F/8) on Saturday afternoon at Sugar Field. -- STORY

Hood Holds Off Mustangs Ninth Inning Comeback In Conference Opener

The Stevenson baseball was no-hit through 5.1 and trailing 5-0 before, mustering a four-run ninth led by junior Alex Kidwiler who notched his fourth home run of the season with a three-run shot.
