Neighborhood Beautification Scroll to read

Taking in the sights around Palm Coast, you’ll notice a theme: fresh-cut grass, vibrant-colored flowers, native trees, and aesthetically pleasing building façade and structures.

All of this is what many residents love about our city – it’s appreciation for a balance between urban and nature.

A well-maintained home or business landscape is a positive attribute for any city and should be encouraged. The City's Beautification and Environmental Advisory Committee oversees a program that recognizes citizens' efforts to beautify their homes, businesses, and governmental buildings.

At the BEAC's monthly meetings, properties may be nominated for the following four categories: 1) Beautification Award (for landscaping) 2) Go Green Award (for implementation of green development practices) 3) We Noticed Your Beautification Efforts (for smaller scale improvements) 4) Structural Beautification Award (for architectural improvements to building façade and structures). There will be three categories for each award, residential, commercial, and non-profit/governmental.

You can nominate a home or business for a variety of different awards to recognize their efforts in making our City a beautiful place to live and play by visiting www.palmcoastgov.com/green/awards.

What does it mean to win? Bragging rights of course! Plus, a small sign will be placed in front of the home or business acknowledging the win.
