GIVING CAUSES an extra VOICE for the third year in a row

As part of the NFL's 'My Cause, My Cleats' campaign, Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn and players will be sporting customized cleats during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens to showcase causes that have significance to them.

During Weeks 13-15, more than 800 players will be showcasing charities and humanitarian efforts on the field, the selected topics range from hundreds of different charitable organizations, including ones that focus on youth wellness to those that work on sex trafficking prevention to those that support single parents.

It's the one week out of the year that the players can take their cleats, customize them and wear them during a game to show support of causes that they are dedicated to - all in part of one of the league's most popular initiatives, My Cause, My Cleats.

Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors (T.A.P.S.)

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (T.A.P.S.) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the loss of a loved one who died while serving in our Armed Forces, or as a result of his or her service. Since 1994, T.A.P.S. has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.

During the weekend of November 16-18, Quinn hosted 64 T.A.P.S. families at Flowery Branch to thank them for the ultimate sacrifice of their fallen hero. Quinn, who has a strong appreciation to those who serve our country, believes the military is one of the best examples of what being a part of a team means because of the connection that members share with one another.
