Wiercinski Picks Up Save, Coach Gage Gets Win 100 As Mustangs Take Series From Albright

Just one day after starting senior James Wiercinski earned his first save of the year as the Stevenson University baseball team wrapped up their spring break trip to Florida by earning a MAC Commonwealth series victory over the Albright College Lions by a final score of 5-4 on Saturday morning on Mickey Etherton Field at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. -- STORY

Big Innings Lead To Split In DH With Albright

Despite being in Florida the Stevenson baseball team continued MAC Commonwealth play with a doubleheader against the Albright College Lions on Friday morning at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. In game one three different players recorded RBIs in the 4-0 Mustangs win, and then in the afternoon cap, the Stevenson offense erupted to take a 6-0 lead, unfortunately, a seven-run sixth allowed the Lions to storm back and earn the split 9-7. -- STORY

Mustangs Unable To Hold On To Early Lead Against Clarkson

The Stevenson University baseball team got a strong four innings out of junior starter Zach Kaye and his offense staked him to an early 6-0 lead, but a strong answer in the later frames came from the opponent Clarkson University as they went on to down the Mustangs by a 9-7 final on Wednesday morning at the Osceola County Baseball Complex in non-conference action. -- STORY
