The Florida Marsh exhibit captured my attention because of the layout. It makes me feel like I am in the mangroves. I was able to see all of the different parts of the environment including plants and animals. I learned about the interactions among the different species living in the marshlands and how each plays an important in the ecosystem.
The Natural History Museum allowed me to experience nature through the views of Leopold in the butterfly exhibits. It allowed me to appreciate the beauty of nature and how humans can affect the world. Others viewed the exhibit and appreciated the beauty of nature too. I sensed a feeling of peace as I saw all of the butterflies flying around and eating. This experience instilled an ethical responsibility in my outlook toward nature to help take care of the wonderful creatures on Earth.
