Travel Diary

Our 6 day trip to Puerto Rico, to visit my Dad & Luisa.

Day 1 - Wednesday February 8th

At 12:55pm, Wednesday afternoon, we boarded American Airlines Flight 2481 from Dallas to San Juan, seats 20A and 20C.
It was a smooth ride except for the last 30 minutes where it was a little bumpy.

Day 2 - Thursday February 9th

It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shinning.

Late in the afternoon went with Dad to Piñones. Here are some sunset photos at "Vacia Talega" beach.

Day 3 - Friday February 10th

Friday afternoon we went to Old San Juan and walked around the city, taking photos snd enjoying its colonial architechture. Here is a view of "La Rogativa" statue, at the end of Calle de las Monjas.

On the way back to Loiza, we stopped to eat seafood at "Mi Casita" a very popular and reasonable restaurant in Piñones.

Day 4 - Saturday February 11th

Saturday morning Dad woke with cold symptoms and wanted to stay home. I worked some on the computers and in the afternoon decided to go back to Piñones for more seashore photos.

Day 5 - Sunday February 12th

Sunday we went to El Yunque Rainforest. Afterwards, we stopped at Luquillo beach to enjoy the surf.

Day 6 - Monday February 13th

Luquillo Beach was beautiful.

Day 7 -Tuesday February 14th

Happy St Valentines Day

San Juan Airport on our return flight back to Dallas!

A beautiful day to fly!
