Is this job right for me?

If you are a thrill seeker, or some one who likes the rush of battling and driving straight into a possible war-zone, This job is perfect for you. But, if you are already enlisted and are looking for other routes to go, this job spends a lot of time driving around in both the ocean, and on land.

This job sounds like it could be right, but how do I know if I have what it takes?

If you're already enlisted in the marines, and you've passed your IST, CFT, and PFT, Then you just need to meet the following requirements:

(1) Must possess a GT score of 90 or higher.

(2) Must have a CWS II swimmer qualification.

(3) Complete the Assault Amphibian Crewman Course, Camp Pendleton, CA.

(4) Section Leaders (SSgt/Sgt) must complete: the Assault Amphibian Unit Leader Course, Camp Pendleton, CA.

(5) Must have visual acuity correctable to 20/40 in both eyes.

(6) Must have normal color vision.

You can enlist directly after graduating high school, and you must enlist into the normal marines, Or enlist to Assault Amphibian Crewman Course, Camp Pendleton, CA.

How much will I get payed?

If you are a E1, You will get payed 17616, If you are a E2, you will get payed 19740, and if you are an E3, you will get payed up to 23400 depending on your time of enlistment. The ranks above Enlisted 3 (Or E3) gets payed based on how long they are in the marines for, and what rank they are. *Note: Ranks above E3 are payed based off what rank they are and how long their enlisted.

The payment doesn't seem sustainable, nor worth it..

When you really think about it, when your enlisted in the marines you're given food, water, a place to sleep, and clothing. While in the marines, if you don't own a house, the payment just gets saved up. Also, the marines pay for your college.
