Shakespeare Ian Miller

Shakespeare's Birth

Shakespeare was thought to be born April 23rd, 1564. It wasn't recorded when he was born but it was recorded when he got baptized which was on April 26th, in the same year. They thought he was born on the 23rd then because when people are baptized, it's usually 3 days after they were born. Shakespeare was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England.

Stratford-Upon-Avon was important in the 16th century because it was the birth place of William Shakespeare, and it was a town that had agriculture.

Shakespeare Acting Career

Shakespeare was associated with these 2 acting companies called The Kings Men, and he was also in The Lord Chamberlains man. It was 1 acting company that just changed names with some minor changes. He was first in The Lord Chamberlains Man, to The Kings Men. Also, Romeo and Juliet is thought to have been written in 1595.

Death of Shakespeare

The death of Shakespeare was on April 23, 1616. This is weird because he died on the same date he was supposedly born, but just a different year. He was 52 when he died. He died where he was born, Stratford-upon-Avon, England.
