Malala Yousafzai made a malala fund and she opened this all girls school near the Syrian border.

Malala and her father Started the Malala fund in 2013 for the 60 million girls in the world who don't go to school. She collected $4 million and plus she put $1.1 million in Malala Fund. She put all money toward the girls education. The Malala fund has got money from Star Wars and Microsoft.

On October 9, 2012 when Malala and her friends were going home from school, a masked gunman entered the school bus and asked for Malala by name. He injured her and her friends. Malala was shot and she survived and continued with her dream.

On December 10, 2014 she got the Nobel peace prize and she took it for the girls around the world. She will keep fighting for girls education until every girl can go to school. She was awarded over $500,000 and she put it torward a secondary school for girls in Pakistan.

Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12,1997. She was born in Hingora, a town in the swat district of north-west Pakistan.
