On the Road With the Gators A look at florida's record-setting trip to lsu and oklahoma.

The Florida men's basketball team hosts Missouri on Thursday night at Exactech Arena.

Since last playing at home on Jan. 21, the Gators won handily at LSU and Oklahoma in one of the program's most memorable road trips.

Florida made a school-record 19 3-pointers in a 106-71 win at LSU on Jan. 25. Three days later in Norman, Okla., they capped the five-day trip with a 84-52 victory over the Sooners, marking the first back-to-back 30-point road wins in school history.

Hawkins Center assistant athletics director Tom Williams oversaw study hall sessions and monitored quizzes

Eric Hester came off the bench to score a career-high 16 points and go 5-for-5 from the 3-point line at LSU. The Gators hit a school-record 19 shots from the arc.

Devin Robinson scored a career-high 24 points and hit five 3-pointers against the Tigers.

The Gators got the final call from the ESPN team of Brent Musburger and Dick Vitale. Musburger announced his retirement last week, effective Jan. 31.

Kevarrius Hayes had career highs of 20 points and 9 rebounds off of the bench.

Kasey Hill had 8 assists and only 1 turnover against the Sooners.

Hayes and Hill celebrate the first back-to-back 30-point road wins in Florida history.
