Make the Airport Less Crappy (and More Fun)! kill time at the airport

Your bags have been checked, you are finally through security... now what can you do to pass time at the airport? Here's our suggestions.

Spoil Yourself. Whether you are heading to an exciting destination or returning back to your busy life, it is important to take time for relaxing. Most airports have a place for massages, spa treatments, and sometimes even nails. Take an hour to release your stress.

Read. If you do not have a book or magazine on hand, do not hesitate to enjoy the free library of the...airport bookstores! People spend hours reading full books without purchasing. Catch up on the latest magazines or dive into a must read book. Anne E. Cunningham and Keith E. Stanovich’s book, “What Reading Does for the Mind,” noted that heavy readers display greater knowledge. Reading improves memory and expands vocabulary, while releasing stress.

Checkout museum displays. Airports are large...really large. Even ports you've been to multiple times most likely have an area you have not explored. Take a walk around or ask an employee about the attractions at the airport.

Lounge. Airports best kept secret are their lounges. These aren't just for first class or business travelers. For around $35, you will have a calm environment with comfortable seating, free unlimited food and drinks, TV and entertainment, magazines, newspapers, WiFi, and more. Stay at the lounge your full wait time.

Wishing safe travels for you!
