The Eastern Michigan University Eagles finished off the regular season with a senior day game, 'Under the Lights' against Central Michigan University on Nov. 22, 2016.

The Eagles improved to 7-5 which marked the most wins in a season since 1989.

Redshirt sophomore Blake Banham rushed 18 times for 122 yards and scored one touchdown.

Junior Sergio Bailey II brought in six passes for 104 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown.

Redshirt junior Brogan Roback went 26-for-37 and threw for355 yards and two touchdowns.

Senior Day

Before the game, the Eagles honored 15 seniors. This years senior class consisted of Mike Brown, Sam Browning, Kevin Davis, Dion Dawson, Cole Gardner, Aloyis Gray, Amos Houston, Jake Hurcombe, Pat O’Connor, Chris O’Risky, DaQuan Pace, Brendan Renius, Austin Sanders, Darien Terrell and Andrew Wylie.

Redshirt sophomore running back Blake Banham started the game off strong with a 50-yard touchdown run to put the Eagles up 7-0
Redshirt freshman Dieuly Aristilde hauled in a 42-yard touchdown pass to put the Eagles up 14-0 in the second quarter.
Redshirt freshman Paul Fricano knocked down two field goals in the third quarter to put the Eagles up, 20-7.
After letting up two touchdowns, the Eagles found themselves down 21-20 late in the fourth quarter. After converting on 4th and six, Brogan Roback threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to regain the lead with 21 seconds left.
Redshirt sophomore Jeremiah Harris intercepted CMU quarterback Cooper Rush to seal the Eagles victory.
With the win, the Eagles improved to 7-5 on the season which is the most wins since 1989.

Next up, the Eagles await their bowl fate. The bowl selection will Sunday Dec. 4.
