Don’t Wait - Believe, Work, Share, Rejoice, ForgiveBy: Margaret R. Wilder
Take heart, nurture your faith—God has a plan for your life.
You were created for a divine purpose.
Isaiah 49:15-16 (AMP)
[The Lord answered] “Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. “Indeed, I have inscribed [a picture of] you on the palms of My hands...”
God sees from beginning to end...
...but we have the power to choose a life of faith.
...to embrace his will for our lives—or to do our own thing.
Matthew 6:25 (AMP)
“Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
Matthew 6:27 (AMP)
“And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life?”
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (AMP)
Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, [be diligently active, make thoughtful decisions], for you will find it after many days.
Ecclesiastes 11:2 (AMP)
Give a portion to seven, or even [divide it] to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth.
Ecclesiastes 11:3 (AMP)
If the clouds are full [of rain], they empty themselves on the earth;
and if a tree falls toward the south or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it lies.
So we can’t disavow the Law of Gravity.
It is what it is.
Likewise, wisdom, history, and scripture teach—we can choose our own path, but we cannot defy the laws of God and enjoy a bountiful, fruitful life.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 (AMP)
He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed],
and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest].
Ecclesiastes 11:5 (AMP)
Just as you do not know the way and path of the wind or how the bones are formed in the womb of a pregnant woman,
even so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 (AMP)
Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle with your hands in the evening,
for you do not know whether morning or evening planting will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
Ecclesiastes 11:7 (AMP)
The light is sweet and pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun.
Ecclesiastes 11:8 (AMP)
Yes, if a man should live many years, let him rejoice in them all;
yet let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. All that is to come will be futility.
Ecclesiastes 11:9 (AMP)
Rejoice, young man, in your childhood,
and let your heart be pleasant in the days of your young manhood.
And walk in the ways of your heart and in the desires of your eyes, but know that God will bring you into judgment for all these things.
Ecclesiastes 11:10 (AMP)
Therefore, remove sorrow and anger from your heart and put away pain from your body, for childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
Thank you Lord for the beautiful lives and love you have given us!
Psalm 31:19-21 (AMP)
How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You, Which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of man! In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots and conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter (pavilion) from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown His marvelous favor and lovingkindness to me [when I was assailed] in a besieged city.
