An Updated Childhood Why Children Should Not use Electronics in the ACAC Daycare

Whether a child is alone, without a group, or being monitored by an adult, the use of electronics is becoming more accepted. These images depict a future generation of isolation and corrupted relationships.

There is not much emotion shown when a child is mesmerized by a screen. There is also no social interaction happening between the child controlling the device and the child watching.

Reading a book does not give the child an option to play games. The child can read the story or have it read to a group of children and once it is over, continue to play!

When children play socially and physically together, they get to know each other and friendships grow. Updating your children's childhood starts with putting the screens away and allowing them to participating in healthy play!
