ROMAN'S EMPIRE
Year in Review takes a look at forward #10 Roman Kraemer, who enjoyed a breakout performance during the 2017-18 season for the Johnstown Tomahawks.
A native of Moon Township, just outside Pittsburgh, Kraemer was relied upon to get the puck into the back of the net for a young Tomahawks squad that was still learning the ropes during the season.
ROMAN BY THE NUMBERS
Kraemer netted 21 goals and chipped in 17 assists on the year. Frequently featured in the top six, Kraemer found chemistry with forwards Sam Solensky and Joe Kile late in the season, which helped the Tomahawks put up valuable points in the standings. Roman was an efficient power pay contributor, as his seven power play goals paced the team.
RECOGNITION
For his efforts, Kraemer was selected to represent Johnstown and the East Division at the 2018 Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Mich. Additionally, he netted two team awards at season’s end; the Fan Favorite Award and Rookie of the Year.
