The parts of the Skeletal system
Bones: A person has a skeleton made of bones.You have 270 bones in your body at birth. When you are an adault you have 206 bones. The bones provides support for our bodies and help form our face. Eat and drink dairy products because they contain calcium witch helps bones harden and become strong.
The parts of the Muscular system
Muscles: They are all over your body. They do everything from pumping blood throughout your body to help lift your heavy backpack. You have more than 600 muscles in your body.
Tendons: Tendons are a band of tissue that connects to the bones. They act like a bridge between the bones. Eat fruit and vegetables because they have vitamin C that helps them.
Ligaments: Ligaments are tough bands of tissue that hold your bones together at your joints like your elbow. They make it possible for you to bend and move in all the right ways. Eat fruit and vegetables because they have vitamin C that helps them.
Cartilage:Their is no blood vessels to pump blood in cartilage. Cartilage provides structure but not as much as bones. Cartilage is softer and more flexible than a bone.
