On Sept. 20, students at Lawrence North High School will have the opportunity to support their fellow classmates at the annual band concert that will take place at 7 p.m.
Band Director Tom Wallis believes that the concert will be a great way for students to be exposed to different types of music and support their friends and acquaintances that they normally don’t see around school.
“The concert will expose you to music that you wouldn’t hear otherwise,” Wallis said.
The wind ensemble, symphonic and concert band are all scheduled to perform that night and admission free. Wallis encourages students to come out and support their fellow peers.
“The reason why students should come because for one. It’s free and most likely you have a friend or two in the band department that you could see perform that night,” Wallis said.
