What is child labor

Child labor is the use of children in industry or business, especially when illegal or considered inhumane.

How much is it happening

There are 168 million children worldwide trapped in child labor, accounting for almost 11 percent of the overall child population: 100 million boys and 68 million girls. Around half are engaged in hazardous work Which is about 84 million boys and girls in hazardous work

What Can be done to stop child labor

They're are plenty of ways we can stop child labor. They're are various groups which have dedicated themselves to stop child labor.

What has been done

Governments in the US have made these actions illegal and there are people everywhere looking out for child labor. There's a special police unit that deals with child labor.
